About the Storyteller
Michael has been steadily involved in the performing arts since 1988 in the areas of dance, drama, and storytelling. With passion and excellence, he has delighted listeners of all ages with stories at schools, libraries, and church groups in several states from Maryland to Connecticut as well as overseas.
Original and classic stories, as well as culturally diverse folk tales from around the world comprise his ever-growing repertoire. The building of community, self-esteem, and character are common themes.
Michael is also a musician and an instrument maker, often interweaving harp song with his stories.
He is listed in the Delaware Division of the Arts performing artist roster under: Storytellers and Artists-In-Residence. Visit www.artsdel.org.
Michael, a member of the Philadelphia-based storytelling guild, Patchwork, lives in Bear, Delaware with his wife (the woman of his dreams) and their daughter (the apple of his eye). |
