Rev. Michael A. Forestieri

Rev. Michael holds a Bachelor of Christian Ministry degree from Chesapeake Bible College. His mentors have included several international Christian performing arts ministries.

Since 1989, he has ministered through the performing arts including worship dance, drama, and storytelling. He has directed church drama teams for over ten years and has ministered in several states as well as in Israel, Ukraine, and Peru.

With a heart for “raising the level of play”, Michael also equips churches to utilize the performing arts in promoting the gospel. He is the founder and president of Parables Tell It Like It Is, Inc., a non-profit ministry whose vision is: To impact lives with the power of God’s Word through teaching and the performing arts.

As a Biblical storyteller, Michael is able to speak to all ages as he uses the power of story to present the gospel to a sight and sound generation for the glory of God. Invite him to your church, school, retreat, or outreach as a guest speaker, performing arts minister, and trainer. Michael’s desire is to support the vision of the local church and to minister the love of God through the power of story.

Dr. Jodi K. Forestieri, Ed.D.

Dr. Jodi earned her doctorate in Educational Innovation and Leadership from Wilmington College and holds a Master in Christian Ministry degree from Chesapeake Bible College. She has taught seventh grade Reading and Language Arts for over 13 years in the public school system and for the last two years she has been an Instructional Coach.

With her doctoral training and her experience with Performance Learning Systems, Jodi brings a wealth of knowledge to any workshop, training, lecture, or seminar by use of brain-based strategies to enrich the learning environment. These strategies allow a diverse child or adult audience to retain information more easily.

Her interactive seminars include Parent-Child Communication Skills and Creating Independent Readers. Together, Jodi and Michael offer their Sunday School Teachers Workshop that will equip your volunteers with a practical, fun, and effective set of tools for teaching Bible lessons.

Jodi’s passion is to promote excellence in teaching. She desires to influence future teachers in order to touch the lives of more students than she can, alone. Also trained in worship dance and drama ministry, Jodi joins Michael on stage as the Lord directs.

Together as one...

Happily married since 1991, Michael and Jodi constantly seek ways to let their marriage glorify God. For three years, they served as the house-parents at a Christian boarding house and have often mentored individuals and couples in establishing godly relationships with each other and with the Father. They have also served in the areas of hospitality, altar prayer ministry, retreats, and
outreach ministry.

The Lord combines Jodi’s presentation skills and professional teaching strategies with Michael’s ability to communicate God’s principles and His love through the performing arts into an effective ministry to strengthen, uplift, and equip the local church.

Plus one...

They are blessed with a loving daughter, Kathryn Rose, whom they are raising in the love and admonition of the Lord. She is the delight of her mother, the apple of her father’s eye, and is her father’s most astute storytelling critic. The Forestieri family resides in Bear, Delaware.
